We put on events at the Bank, volunteer for service around the town and support many organizations in their mission. We are making a difference with more than just our dollars. January 2 – Bank Holiday ~ New Year’s Day (Bank Closed Monday)
January 7 - Saturday ~ E-waste Day
In partnership with Ojai Valley Directory, Ojai Community Bank, Gold Coast Recycling & Transfer, and PC Pros, the Ojai Valley Green Coalition will once again hold an e-waste recycling event on Saturday, January 7, 2012, in the bank’s parking lot, located at 402 W. January 1- 21- Ojai Artist in the Lobby- Mary Staton (Mary Hart): "I formally studied at Rio Hondo College. Also studied painting and life drawing at the Art Students League in New York City. When not writing or composing music I continue working at the easel."

April 14th – Saturday ~ Shred Day
Start gathering your old documents now. Bring them to the Ojai Community Bank parking lot on Saturday, April 14th between 9 and 12:00 p.m. The items will be shredded on site while you are there. Protect your identity and help the planet as the tons of documents will all be recycled and you will help save many trees.

Veteran’s Day – November 12th – Bank closed Monday
Nov 15-Dec 31 OCB 3rd Annual One Ton Challenge
OCB has challenged the banks and the residents of the Ojai Valley to join in supporting Help of Ojai’s annual food drive. Please drop off canned or boxed non-perishable foods at any bank in Ojai. At OCB you will receive one raffle ticket for each item donated. Prizes include $100 cash, OCB T-shirts, and delicious items from Peggy Russell’s bakery. Suggestions for filling these holiday food boxes: canned ham, instant potatoes, stuffing, chicken broth, cranberries, green beans, pumpkin pie filling, fruit pie filling, olives, white rice, dried beans, various canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, juice, pasta, pasta sauce, macaroni and cheese, soup, chili, tuna or other canned protein, dried milk, coffee or tea, refried beans, and condiments. In 2010 and 2011 Ojai Rotary West donated 100 turkeys to the OCB One Ton Challenge and the Help of Ojai families.
